Position Summary
The Product Security Engineering Team seeks a specialized resource in SRE and Infrastructure Engineering to support platforms and systems within the Prod Sec domain. The team is collectively responsible for delivering Product Security solutions within the domains of Secure Development Lifecycle, Privacy Engineering, Threat Ops and Vulnerability Management.
What You'll Do
As the Prod Sec SRE you will specialize in core DevOps practices, Scalability/Resilience/Reliability Models, CICD patterns, and IaaC. You will improve and iterate over containerization (K8s and ECS) deployment patterns, support the implementation of secure CICD pipelines, deploy Data Privacy Platforms, engage in Observability tuning, and orchestrate rotational on-call for the Product Security organization.
This includes being an advisory for MQ’s product engineers. As Marqeta grows and pivots to new deployment strategies, you will provide knowledge and expertise in support of critical projects on behalf of the Security Engineering Orginization.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of at least one or more domains, including but not limited to
- IaaC Tooling (Terraform)
- DevOps in AWS Cloud Infrastructure (EC2, RDS)
- Container Orchestration Platforms (EKS, Kubernetes, ECS, etc)
- K8s CNCF Toolchain (Helmet, containerd, TUF, OPA etc)
- Production Grade Service Development Languages (Java, Golang)
- Product/Application Security
- API Security in Event Driven Microservices
- Service Delivery in PCI/SOC2 Environments
- Edge\Perimeter Service Delivery \ API Gateway
- Secrets Management
- Backend Datastores/DBA
