Your role and impact

This role is full-time (40 hours per week), with a consistent schedule required.

Responsibilities

Senior Security Engineer for 98point6 Inc at its Seattle, WA office. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Conduct code review of applications and infrastructure-as-code for security best practices and potential risks.
• Design, implement, execute and report on penetration tests of company services and infrastructure.
• Contribute a security perspective to company application and infrastructure design process.
• Develop threat models for our current and planned systems and infrastructure.
• Conduct or organize security training and outreach for company’s development teams.
• Design and develop security tools to improve company’s automated monitoring.
• Identify key performance metrics for security metrics and implement instrumentation for those metrics.
• Develop and execute company processes for security event incident response.
• Security assessment and verification of security compliance of vendors over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or other closely related field of study.
• 5 years of experience in the job offered or other closely related positions.
