What You'll Do
You will be responsible for enabling product development as well as service teams to deliver better quality and secure products by using cloud native tools.
In this role, you will create and manage an ecosystem for our log analytics and web analytics solutions. You and the team will take care of all engineering and operational aspects of our Splunk Cloud analytics ecosystem. You will architect and engineer the integration with other solutions, develop and manage the tool related AWS based infrastructure and data integration services, and automate our product capabilities as a self-service option for our users.
You will also improve our policy compliant data integration and tool management concept and will improve the reliability and security of our products.
Who You'll Work With
You will be working in our Atlanta Tech Hub as part of our Product Analytics Tooling Service team. This is a geographically distributed team of 5-8 IT engineers and architects which supports and further develops product capabilities of Heap and Splunk Cloud and the integration into the McKinsey Tech Ecosystem.
The Online Tooling Group in McKinsey's Technology & Digital function works as a one stop solution for all the tooling needs of the product and service teams at the firm.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in a Splunk engineering role; working experience with web analytics (such as Heap Analytics) is an advantage. Willing to train.
• 2+ years of working experience with AWS and its various services; AWS CSA certification is preferred. Willing to train.
• Comfortable working on Linux command line and shell scripting
• Expertise in automation and infrastructure as code tools like terraform, cloudformation, ansible
• Experience with DevOps concepts and tools such as Git, CICD, test based development workflow
• Web development background with knowledge in HTML, CSS and web frameworks
• Active skills in a programming language such as python or javascript
