Reporting into the Senior Manager, Business Systems the ideal candidate will utilize their strong Salesforce and CPQ functional expertise and technical competencies to develop best-practice and scalable solutions that meet business owner requirements. They will partner with business owners to understand and recommend solutions for business problems, and then execute on the development and deployment of the agreed upon solution all within the Salesforce Quote to Cash environment while also providing production support for existing functionality. 

Who you are:

  • Passionate and curious self-starter who can juggle multiple projects -- delivering work products on target and on time within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, problem solving, negotiation, task and project coordination and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including documenting business process, use cases and business requirements documentation, functional specifications, and test scripts/results.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with business partners to help shape functional requirements of the quote-to-cash process
  • Translate functional and business requirements into an actionable solution design
  • Actively drive the overall implementation of resulting solutions, including coordinating custom development work with external consultants when needed
  • Perform hands-on design, solution architecture, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and CPQ development tasks
  • Make recommendations for improvements to systems and processes to make Quote-to-cash workflows more efficient and automated

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years Salesforce administration with advanced skills
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ
  • Certifications in both Salesforce administration and Salesforce CPQ
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS contract lifecycle including Contracts, Subscriptions, Amendments, Renewals, and their impact on downstream revenue and billing systems.
  • Functional expertise in Salesforce CPQ with a command of all aspects of the system including Product Rules, MDQ, Configuration Attributes, Pricing Rules, Advanced Approvals, Salesforce Billing, and Output Documents.
  • Functional knowledge of integrations to downstream systems such as NetSuite for billing and revenue purposes.
  • Experience with CLM systems nice to have
  • Some automation/Apex experience nice to have
