The Publisher Platform Partnership team is a lean startup-like unit within Quantcast focused on a range of innovative products across identity, privacy, measurement, and supply. These include the newly launched Permisio (consumer consent preference portal), Choice (leading consent management platform), Measure (audience analytics), and Supply (inventory/monetization), consulting top publisher brands such Buzzfeed, Reddit, Conde Nast, and more.


We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer who will be a key technical support resource and advisor across Quantcast’s publisher product suite, both internally and externally. This person will guide the sales and account management teams on the most suitable implementation/account setup based on client needs, and be responsible for investigating a multitude of technical issues that arise with accounts. Excellent customer-facing skills, along with the ability to understand and communicate highly complex technical issues in a brief and simplified way, will be key to success.

Responsibilites

  • Act as a pivotal resource for Publisher Platform Partnership team, assisting internal teams and external customers, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise
  • Collaborate with sales and AM teams to understand customer requirements to ensure successful integrations
  • Provide technical insight and support for complex site tag setup and technical issues the team encounters such as troubleshooting tag implementations, CMP consent signals, data discrepancies, etc.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate trends in-market, product feedback and lead product release expectations for the commercial team
  • Build an intimate understanding of Quantcast products and their place in the industry
  • Identify common issues, and create directional documentation for commercial team
  • Report/follow product bugs and track resolution of technical issues
  • Provide technical onboarding to all new hires and offer ongoing technical training to commercial team

Requirements

  • 5-7 years in technical or sales support role in ad tech or data
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and SQL (bonus points for CSS)
  • Knowledge of 3rd party ad servers, tag management platforms, tagging strategies, performance display media, video/mobile integrations
  • Run and modify SQL to be able to pull data needed for solving problems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deeply strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong customer service attitude including interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Confirmed ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects and ever-changing priorities
  • Learn new concepts, processes, technologies quickly and demonstrate deep understanding so as to introduce improvements to existing processes
  • BA/BS degree qualification

Recognizing the importance of flexible work environments, Quantcast is implementing a hybrid work model which will take effect October 18, 2021. The model gives employees the opportunity to work from home two days a week and work in the office for team collaboration three days a week. Employees can also work remotely for two weeks each year or apply for our fully-remote work program. Additionally, all U.S. employees working from a Quantcast office or who meet clients are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
