As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer, you will build practical solutions for coordinating movement and managing traffic of autonomous mobile robots. This is an opportunity to join 6RS as we partner with customers in deploying dozens of collaborative robots in dynamic environments. 

In this new position, you will: 

• Solve complex, practical problems to improve navigation, path planning, and/or human robot interaction
• Implement cloud and client-side applications to coordinate the motion of many robots
• Create predictable movement and patterns for human-robot interactions
• Write thorough test procedures for/with QA engineers and colleagues
• Share knowledge and refine designs based on inputs from the team

What you'll need day one: 

• Scrappy, yet thoughtful approach to problem solving
• Expertise in path planning, motion planning, or controls
• Experience programming in C++
• Experience programming in a scripting language like Typescript and/or Python
• Familiarity with linear algebra, numerical methods and basic optimization techniques
• Practical experience with robotics projects and the Robot Operating System (ROS) 
• Commitment to rigorous testing and validation
