Senior RAN Engineer

Role Summary
Hardware Development Engineer: Evaluates reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production; plans, designs and develops electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, optical systems and/or DSP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- As a part of LTE/NR RAN development team, design LTE/NR radio and validate its performances against 3GPP standard specifications and customer requirements
- Execute test cases according to test plan and procedure
- Identify issues discovered during radio verifications and work out recommendations/solutions
Job Requirements
- Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and communication engineering or Computer Science, Minimum BSc degree, MSc preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience including 2 years working experience in wireless communication industry
- Strong RF hardware background and familiarity with RF measurements instruments (Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter, Network Analyzer)
- Working knowledge of LTE/NR PHY layer protocols (OFDM, modulation, timing/synchronization, random access)
- Proficiency in Matlab
- Familiar with C/C++ and software development is desired.
