The Role

In this role, you will help your Agile SCRUM Team plan their sprints and releases during Backlog Grooming and Sprint Planning. You'll keep the team updated on the progress of your test cases, test case execution, automated scripts, and break-fix cycles during daily Stand-Ups. You'll have the opportunity to demo your team's sprint work to the company during our Sprint Reviews. You will help the team learn, grow, and continuously improve during Sprint Retrospectives. You'll suggest and drive process enhancements and improvements, you'll provide informative PR and test case reviews, and you'll mentor more junior team members. You'll organize, prepare, review, and complete sprint teamwork in a way that enables others to be productive in completing sprint objectives. The right candidate is able to support a SCRUM Team with test case writing and both manual and automated testing. We are seeking candidates who are analytical in their decision-making and highly communicative in their actions. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the ability to advance, standardize, and strengthen our QA practices and procedures. The ideal candidate is self-driven, excels in a collaborative environment, and brings a sense of professionalism and integrity to the team. What You'll Do

  • Product Expert: Dive deep into the LogicManager application, achieving and maintaining a rich understanding.
  • SCRUM Advocate: Be the trusted quality voice within a SCRUM team, championing top-notch deliverables.
  • Agile Builder: Actively participate in building, testing, and delivering high-quality software using Agile methodologies.
  • Defect Detective: Spot, test, and report software inconsistencies and potential enhancements.
  • Documentation Master: Craft comprehensive Test Plans, detailed Test Cases, and meticulous Regression documentation.
  • Automation Guru: Lead the creation, updating, and reporting of automation tests to enhance our delivery speed.
  • Collaborative Reviewer: Provide insightful reviews of test cases and automation PRs, elevating the team's output.
  • Problem Solver: Dive deep into technical issues, collaborate with developers, and refine team processes through root cause analysis.
  • QA Innovator: Keep our QA process fresh and forward-looking, always pushing for excellence.
  • Mentor & Leader: Share your knowledge and experience, helping junior team members shine.

About You and What Skills You'll Need

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a QA role, shaping quality outcomes.
  • Agile Advocate: Experience in SDLC using Agile Methodologies, adapting and driving team success.
  • SaaS Specialist: Familiarity with SaaS applications and the Continuous Integration/Deployment model.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in querying SQL databases, navigating Agile methodologies, and steering automated testing.
  • Automation Expert: Familiarity with tools like Selenium for functional and regression testing and REST-assured for testing Rest API.
  • Detail-Oriented Thinker: Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Team Player & Leader: Thrive independently but also inspire a team towards greatness.
  • Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work Eligibility: Authorized to work in the US (sponsorship not available).

  • Bachelor's degree with an engineering or science background
