Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead Quality Engineers across multiple teams to ensure consistency, adherence to best practices, an Automation-First approach, and enforcement of team working agreements such as the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)
  • Evaluate and maintain the testing strategies, approaches, tools and frameworks used by the teams
  • Design, develop and execute test automation frameworks and test automation suites
  • Provide regular quality and status reports
  • Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture and detailed design documents
  • Act as key point of contact for other Quality Engineers across multiple teams
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise when integrating the application software with other software components
  • Mentor and guide other Quality Engineers on the QA Process, the testing strategy, tools and frameworks being used and assist them in growing their careers.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and conduct interviews

Experience & Skills:

  • 1+ years leading Quality Engineers and 7+ years overall working with distributed/remote agile product development teams
  • An expert in at least one test automation framework, such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cypress, TestCafe, SpecFlow, BrowserStack and/or Playwright
  • Hands-on experience in software testing and writing software testing automation (Java, C# and/or JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • A deep understanding and real-word experience building automated test suites following Behavior-Driven Design (BDD)
  • Able to teach the Gherkin syntax to others
  • Experience planning, designing, and implementing testing strategies and automation infrastructure for large scale system software
  • First-hand experience executing load, stress, API and database tests using enterprise level test automation tools
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in fast-growing environment
  • Curious, resourceful and eager to tackle new challenges
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
