What We’re Looking For
 
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to help us deliver higher quality software, faster. Our product poses a particularly challenging QA problem because its core function is to interact with applications and data sources that we are not able to directly control. While we have developed a number of tools and techniques to help meet this challenge, our ideal candidate will have experience working in similarly challenging QA environments, along with an ability think creatively.

What You'll Do

As a QA Engineer, you will be embedded on projects with our product managers and software engineers, and work with them to refine requirements and define and execute test plans. You will be accountable for creating automated tests. During test execution you will work with the team to report issues and perform analysis to help find a root cause. You will be responsible to communicate with the team on the project testing status.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of professional QA or Software Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of web applications, databases, and web APIs
  • Proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language like python, ruby, or JavaScript – python preferred
  • Experience writing automated tests preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Linux experience is preferred
