Senior QA Engineer for Automation and Performance/Load Testing

About 25% of the American population lives in a community association and more than 60% of new housing built for sale is within associations.

Due to CINC's continued growth and innovation, the company is seeking to add a senior QA engineer experienced in QA automation and performance/load testing to the team. This position will be a crucial role in the success of our company by contributing to, as well as driving, high-quality releases to our customers.

  • Lead and implement QA automation, performance, and load testing efforts across different product lines.
  • Design and execute different performance test strategies depending on unique project purposes and client requirements.
  • Identify the gaps and enhance the current performance test framework, test requirements, metrics, procedures, and policies etc.
  • Identify load test scenarios & able to design workload model. Write performance test requirements (general and specific to applications).
  • Grow and evolve our performance tooling and testing processes to ensure tests are customer-like and representative of real-world scenarios
  • Design, develop, and execute reusable tests, scripts, scenarios using approved software and tools, and generate test results for automation, performance, and load as part of the SDLC. Communicate test results and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain testing environments and generate accurate test data to support automation testing and performance/load testing.
  • Escalation for performance related troubleshooting and support.
  • Facilitate issue resolution with functional and technical groups
  • Support the Engineering teams with tools and frameworks to enhance system performance, scalability and stability.
  • Help and guide other team members develop their own performance test and automation plans and scripts
  • Work with enterprise architects, developers, and product team to validate the performance and scalability of our software products.
  • Work with multiple projects with conflicting deadlines. Use a wide range of tools and utilities to identify performance related issues in the applications and systems and present findings to other teams in the organization.
  • Conduct technical discussion with respective stakeholders, explain and drive use of performance test outputs.


Technical Skills and Experiences Required:
  • Extensive experience in measuring application performance of complex SaaS product environments.
  • Fluent and knowledge of industry standard performance and load testing tools such as (Jmeter, Loadrunner, httperf etc) and QA automation tools, e.g., TestNG, Selenium. In-depth knowledge of the inner workings of these utilities.
  • Hands-on experience with automation, performance, and load testing in cloud setup
  • Experience generating accurate test data in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Ability to monitor and collect result data, analyze, and pinpoint bottlenecks and guide developers in fixing performance issues.
  • Experience using Application Performance Management (APM) systems, e.g., Dynatrace, DataDog, IIS, etc. to identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Experience in full SDLC and Agile development.
  • Proficient with the Atlassian Tools such as JIRA/Confluence, Bitbucket (GIT).
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with engineers, product owners, and development managers, as well as other teams across the organization.
  • Experience testing mobile applications is a plus.
  • Experience in SQL Profiler and Tuning advisor for improving SQL server performance a plus
  • Ability to be open to learn, to give and take feedback, to put team and business above own interest, to excel in team success and to strive for excellence.
  • Must be action and quality oriented, capable of multitasking well based on priorities.
  • Strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • 8+ years demonstrated hands-on performance, load, and data growth testing Web Application, SaaS, and RESTful
  • 5+ years of experience and proficiency in implementing and executing testing strategies, plans, methodologies, and frameworks in support of Agile development.
  • 3+ years' experience working with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
