Quality Assurance at Collibra is more than just testing - it’s about making an impact, rising above the status quo, and collaborating closely with multiple disciplines. We expect our QA Engineer to be proactive and great communicators. We are looking for a QA Engineer who is a critical thinker and a powerful advocate for our users.

You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Advocate for overall product quality and testing.
• Proactively learning and applying test design principles.
• Participate in automation of acceptance scenarios using tools like Selenium, Cypress.
• Collaborate with developers and other testers on good testing practices and techniques.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential risks.
• Generate test ideas and heuristics.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our testing practices. 
• Communicate your findings from testing in a meaningful and productive way.

• A logical and critical thinker and a genuine systems thinker.
• Naturally curious and question things for sense.
• Enjoy challenges and working in a fast paced environment.
• Good knowledge and experience of value-added automation practices.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to understand and execute Context Driven, Risk Based, and Session Based testing with guidance.
• Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery/continuous testing environment (experience with CI/CD tools is a bonus).
• Hands-on automation experience, with tools like Cypress/Selenium/Rest Assured, etc
• Good to have the knowledge of with Gradle, JUnit, Docker and/or Kubernetes
