The Multi-Asset Technology group supports quantitative research, model development, and portfolio management processes for Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) unit of AB. Specifically, we directly support the Dynamic Asset Allocation (DAA) group, the outcome-oriented product group, the defined-contribution retirement solutions group, the custom alternative solutions group, the index and factor investment group, and other quantitative investment groups.

We are seeking a Nashville based Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Mulit-Asset Global Technology & Operations.
Describe the role:
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is a key role for our firm to ensure the accuracy of tools and automation we provide to the investment professional team consisting of Portfolio Managers, Quantitative and Fundamental Research Analysts, Traders, Assistant Portfolio Managers and Multi-Asset Operations.
Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports:
This role is an opportunity to play an integral role in re-platforming our investment implementation platform from a disparate collection of in-house and vendor systems to a centralized all-in-one vendor platform with custom AB provided coded on the perimeters for Order Generation and integration with AB's internal systems
The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Define quality assurance strategy and test plans consisting of
- Building a robust regression process, making heavy use of automation
- Build out specific test scenarios and test cases to meet the plan for each project
- Understanding the existing vendor QA process to guide or leverage as needed
- Working directly with the business units and the subject matter experts to design test cases for new functionality
- Candidate must be able to perform hands-on test execution
- Candidate will leverage and drive off-shore staffing model to to scale capacity to project needs

- Acquire deep knowledge of AB's investment process which include components from a portfolio management, order and execution management and operations
- Ability to put into practice existing test suite design experience
Job Qualifications
- Candidate would take ownership of the quality aspect from start to delivery, including sign off and project planning.
- Candidate would be responsible for managing their own solo execution as well as leveraging available team resources and be able to report back to status of completion and any gaps.
Qualifications, Experience, Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year degree
- 5-8 years of QA experience
Skills:
- Writing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- SQL, python or other programming knowledge is a plus
Preferred Special Knowledge:
- Financial services experience
- Experience with OMS/EMS platforms
- Market data
