Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer in our Advanced Technology Office (ATO), you will bring the latest technologies to bear on our Nation's critical missions. From semiconductors to complex receiver-processor systems, you will ensure the technology performs reliably in challenging space environments. Our team will look to your leadership to:
  • Drive system development timeline reductions to less than three years by establishing the optimal reliability requirements against our customer's mission objectives
  • Identify technology gaps in mission/product roadmaps and pathfind solutions to close those gaps
  • Introduce advanced commercial technology into complex payload systems and ensure their reliable performance
  • Guide/Drive Radiation, Reliability, and Component Engineering teams to adopt commercial space best practices and standards
