Job Description:

• You will be designing and developing software that will perceive the surrounding scene with the camera and lidar sensors. 
• Your work will be the core part of ThorDrive’s Autonomous Driving technology and you will be expected to meet the professional expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.S. in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, computer science or related field, or with equivalent industrial experience
• Solid programming skills (e.g. C++, python)
• Demonstrated ability to build real-time algorithms

Must Have Knowledge and Experience

• At least 3 years of experience working on autonomous vehicles. 
• Practical experience of machine learning, and deep learning
• Hands-on experience in transfer learning 
• Deep learning techniques (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow)
• Different types of sensors (e.g. camera, LiDAR, radar, or IMU) 

Preferred Experience

• ROS Knowledge
• Large scale public datasets (e.g. KITTI, Caltech, Berkeley Deep Drive benchmark)
• Hands-on experiences on autonomous vehicles or ground wheel robots
• Outdoor applications Publication from computer vision conference (e.g. IV, BMVC, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV)
• Embedded systems
