The Network team keeps Hulu’s network infrastructure operating at top efficiency. We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our infrastructure as a service team. We build infrastructure and platforms that enable developers to build, automate, host and monitor their services in our data centers. We also help architect the distributed content platform to store, transcode, and deliver petabytes of videos on commodity hardware. What You'll Do:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering-related field or relevant experience
• Contribute to the design and expansion of Hulu's network and server infrastructure.
• Develop tools and processes to reduce operational costs and increase operational efficiencies.
• Work with other team members to build and maintain a secure, high performance, high availability network services.
• Provision, manage, and optimize networks i n data centers and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with developers i n an open creative environment.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering-related field or minimum 10 years of experience working across multiple levels of networking stacks.
• Expert in designing and implementing complex routing and switching in large-scale, multi-vendor networks.
• Expert in designing and configuring multi-account, multi-region networking stack in Public Cloud platforms.
• Strong scripting skills with intense knowledge of internet protocols, services and standards.
• Experience i n configuring and maintaining SDN, network automation, and network telemetry solutions.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve product, hardware and performance issues independently.
• Solid understanding of network security standards, best practices, and implementation of them to operating procedures and configurations.
• Experience with any of the following technologies and standards is preferred but not required:
• Juniper and Arista switches
• Palo Alto Network Firewalls
• Citrix Netscaler and AVI load balancers
• IPv6 and Multicast
• Ansible, CloudVision, and Terraform

Nice-to-Haves:

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and networking
