GDIT is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to join our dynamic team!!

Some telecommuting allowed but candidate must be local to the area.

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to analyze network requirements and provide Cisco router configurations

Must understand the following Cisco command lines:

SNMP, BGP, OSPF, user credentials, DMVPN, ROAS, and 802.1x

Must understand DNS and how to make entries. Infoxblox appliance support for DNS is a big plus.

Must understand and have experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure (CPI)

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ideal candidate will be interacting with many groups and individuals to complete projects and tasking.

Must have a solid understanding of network security. STIG application and experience supporting Cyber Compliance inspections a plus.

Must have a DoD 8570 IAT II certification.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with network analyzer tools either software or hardware based like network taps, RANCID, or Wireshark.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 8+ years of experience
