Senior Network Engineer

Essential Job Functions
Lead design, implementation of Enverus network initiatives.
Maintain Datacenter and Branch network environments.
Responsible for multiple network technologies including Data Center Fabric, Internet Edge routers, Wireless, and firewalls.
Scripting in any of, Python, Ansible
Deploy and maintain routing protocols ( OSPF, IS-IS, BGP )
Interface with customers and ensuring customer satisfaction
Roles Competences
Strong understanding of networking technologies and experience with complex network troubleshooting.
Strong experience in BGP, OSPF
Strong experience in Internet Edge technologies.
AWS/Azure network experience
Strong experience with network troubleshooting ( packet capture, debug )
Knowledge of Firewall technologies ( NGFW, IPSec VPNs, Troubleshooting)
Provides networking expertise to other Enverus IT/Technology groups for troubleshooting/design.
Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex problems and propose practical solutions
Proficiency in architecting and deploying network infrastructure technology solutions in large-scale environments
Functional knowledge of core networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancing, VLAN segmentation, etc.
Strong written communication skills; must be able to write clear, concise technical documentation
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
Good organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication
Self-starter that does not need constant instruction or oversight
Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field is preferred
5+ years of IT experience with a focus on network engineering in a datacenter environment.
Extensive experience with Junos is preferred.
Additional certifications are considered an asset.
