Senior Netsuite Engineer

You will be the technical subject matter expert for NetSuite: architect, design, build and deliver optimized and scalable NetSuite solutions and support NetSuite production systems. Stay current of the new NetSuite features and functionality, and provide recommendations for improvements. Perform technical design/code reviews and audits to ensure design objectives are met and standards are followed. Work with management product managers and finance business partners to scope work and produce deliverable estimates. Adapt to changing priorities of the business and seek out ways to develop new skills. Balance multiple concurrent projects and contending priorities.
You will:
- Design and implement NetSuite solutions according to business and stakeholder requirements from various departments
- Develop NetSuite configurations/customizations including searches, dashboards, custom form, custom fields/workflows
- Develop SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, and SuiteCloud to meet business requirements
- Provide hands-on production support for NetSuite related issues, including configurations, troubleshooting, administrative tasks
- Support existing integrations and build new integrations between NetSuite and other third-party systems as needed
- Work with the platform engineering teams and systems analysts on automating data integrations with NetSuite
- Interact with NetSuite software vendors and external consultants and collaborate to guide problems to resolution
- Lead the Netsuite application support such as incident management, change management, etc.
- Test and validate existing integrations and customizations, and handle NetSuite releases
- Other duties/tasks as assigned based on business priorities and goals. E.g. user maintenance/Report development
Your Background Should Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field is required
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience building NeSuite solutions using SuiteCloud developer tools such as SuiteScript (1.0/2.0), SuiteTalk, Suitelets, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow.
- Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, SOAP, REST, XML, HTML and JSON technologies.
- Experience developing NetSuite integrations
- Prior experience implementing NetSuite modules such as manufacturing, warehouse management, or supply & demand planning, etc.
- A solid understanding of key business processes (Procure-to-Pay, Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Accounting).
- Clear communication and orchestration of technical development, documentation and overall SDLC
- Working knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, GitHub and overall Devops experience
- Hands-on experience with Hybrid/Agile project methodology
- Demonstrated ability to create order out of chaos, with minimal oversight
- Experience working with LIMS, Apttus, Coupa is a plus
- NetSuite certifications are strongly preferred
