Senior Modern Workplace\/Cloud Architect
The Microsoft Senior Modern Work and Cloud Architect will have an expert level understanding across the Microsoft stack, with focus on Office 365 and Azure, as well as, provide expert advisory and consulting services to clients.
The overall objective of this position is to provide senior oversight, innovative input, quality control and "connect the dots" between an already mature team of architects who each focus on separate 365 competencies. This role is expected to design enterprise-level cloud solutions, and work closely with Content Senior Architects, Security Architects, Application Developers and Trainers, to ensure our clients are resented with the best cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in prospective pursuits and secure projects, therefore growing the national Modern Work practice
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with clients
- Create design documentation, review existing documentation
- Identify patterns in implementation and develop services
- Serve as solution architect on large projects
- Take an active role in the development of various projects
- Mentor senior staff, work well with team members, clients, and other vendors
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or other related business fields
- 12 (plus) years of Microsoft experience
- 5 (plus) years of Azure experience
- 6 (plus) years of Office 365 experience
- Custom development skills or background
- Sound understanding of relational databases
- Demonstrated ability to design solutions across various LOB systems
- Superior organizational, writing, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work effectively with people at various levels
- Ability to apply system design and development methodologies
- Applicable certifications
- Extensive experience working within and leading a project team
- Experience with C#, SQL, PowerShell, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML
- Development of custom solutions for clients based upon the client's business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, develop strong working relationships with clients, and juggle competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Lead team role with established management of revenue streams and financials
