Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer or Linux Sysadmin looking for your next challenge? Then join our team who work in Commodities and Global Markets space and take part in a number of ongoing initiatives within the Technology team to support the business as they go through a transformational change.
You will work closely with the business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that leverage different systems and technologies to meet business needs. In addition to working with the immediate team, you will be liaising regularly with the other teams in the wider Macquarie Technology group to maintain infrastructure, cybersecurity, and other aspects of our core systems. You will build and support the applications, whilst maturing our DevOps capability.
This role is well suited to existing Linux System admins who are transitioning into DevOps or DevOps engineers already strong in their craft who enjoys working closely with business users and handling multiple queries.

- In-depth knowledge of Linux
- Proven experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible, Golang etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD.
- Prior experience with working in public cloud environments will be highly beneficial to your success in this role.
It would also be a bonus if you have:
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Previous experience transforming legacy applications to cloud
