The Specialized US Infrastructure Operations - West Region organization is seeking an Senior Linux and Windows Systems Administrator (Level 4) to support classified and unclassified programs in the Southern California region (e.g., Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Long Beach, El Segundo). The successful candidate will team with program engineering personnel to design, deploy, and maintain effective cost efficient information technology solutions that support the Autonomous Systems programs. Specific requirements will include hardware and software integration, desktop and Linux and Windows server administration, networking, and information security required by the Department of Defense to ensure compliance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
This position is expected to be 100% on site. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5 + years of experience in Linux system administration
  • Security + certification
  • 5 + years of experience in Windows system administration
  • Experience leading teams with implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards to satisfy U.S. Government classified program requirements (e.g. DAAPM, ICD-503, JSIG, and NIST 800 series special publications)
  • Experience assessing and documenting test or analysis data to show cybersecurity compliance. (e.g., using SCC and STIG Viewer)
  • 2+ years of demonstrated knowledge with security relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include: NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Cyber Security
  • Network administration


Typical Education & Experience :
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
