Principal Software Architect

The Opportunity

• This position involves being part of Business Networks PS Architecture team that is responsible for all BN technical solutions, specifically focusing on IAM, IoT and Supplier Portal products
• You would oversee projects from solution definition and architecture perspective, in collaboration with PS Delivery architects
• Design solutions that include related OT software tools and BN products such as Trading Grid, TGO, SCM and other Enterprise Software components.
• Drive Joint Design Review sessions and cross-product solutions
• Ensure best practices and create documentation
• Lead all internal projects
• Learn other OT products, become PS Arch of composite solutions involving IAM/IoT/Portal and other OT Products
• Co-define solution architecture and be part of project initiatives and customer solutions from the start

You Are Great At

• Work closely with our business partners and technical SMEs, providing oversight and recommendations on how best to accomplish new requirements.
• Be accountable for enforcing best practices, providing documentation and establish process ensuring smooth implementations
• Contribute and collaborate with project delivery team and collaborating on changes as needed
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle
• Investigate and help with advanced application issues.

What It Takes

• A bachelor's degree, college diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Overall experience of 5 or more years
• Experience in development/configuration of IAM and IoT platform implementations
  • Extensive experience working with API's / Web Services (RESTful and SOAP)
  • Extensive development experience in JavaScript, Java, and JS UI Frameworks.
• Development experience working with MySQL, Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle databases.
• Development experience with integration platforms such as OpenText A2A, Boomi, Informatica, MuleSoft is preferred.
• An aptitude to learn new technology quickly.
• Effective documentation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to handle multiple streams of work effectively.
