Responsibilities

• Designing and building mobile applications for iOS (iPhone/iPad)
• Analyzing the requirements and designing the potential architecture and solution
• Participating in constants technical discussions with the team to achieve best possible solutions
• Coding of new features as well as bug fixes and enhancements
• Participating on the design and integration with the mobile services layer
• Creating test builds for the QA team and distribute through TestFlight
• Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar's technology platform and development practices
• Conducting code reviews to make sure all standards and design patterns and principles are being followed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3+ solid years of iOS experience with XCode and Swift
• Proficiency in creating reusable universal UI with Storyboards/Autolayout
• Experience building consumer-facing native applications for iOS
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Experience with the core and third party frameworks. (MapKit, CoreData, AlamoFire, Firebase, GA)
• Proficiency with day to day development tools like CocoaPods, Git, Postman, Xcode profiler
• Ability to design and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability
• Familiarity with the MVVM design pattern.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to present and defend technical and architectural choices persuasively.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)

• Experience with other languages as JavaScript/TypeScript, Node JS and Express framework
• Experience with continuous integration
• Experience with XCTest and XCUITest frameworks
• Swift UI and Combine a nice plus
• Samples of your work (links to App Store or Github for your projects and your role and responsibilities on them)
