In Spotify for Artists, we're building the most valuable platform for artists and fans to connect with one another on Spotify. Our work empowers artists to build careers by selling goods and experiences directly to their fans on Spotify. Our areas of expertise include e-commerce, concert ticket sales, and pre-sales, as well as the exploration of digital goods and experiences.

You will join our innovative and collaborative engineering team as we work to iterate quickly in this unique opportunity space, crafting solutions that address both artists and fan needs!

What you'll do

• Coordinate technical projects across multiple teams within Spotify.
• Facilitate collaboration with engineers, product owners, and designers to seek exciting and ambitious problems for delivering value to artists and fans alike.
• Architect, build, and deliver high-quality, cutting-edge iOS apps.
• Write clear, maintainable code that will scale across a number of projects and distributed development teams.
• Learn, grow, and support engineering peers with different domain expertise through code reviews, mentorship, or engineering initiatives.
• Drive the best engineering practices within and beyond our team.

Who you are

• You know how to write readable, idiomatic and maintainable Swift/Objective-C.
• You have experience working with Websockets.
• You have a deep understanding of iOS application design patterns and API design.
• You are experienced with a variety of iOS frameworks, like RxSwift.
• You care about quality and know what it means to ship high-quality code.
• You see yourself as a T-shaped engineer, but your major is in iOS.
• You have a minimum of 4+ years of iOS experience and have released at least one app on the App Store.
• You value team success over personal success.
