We are looking for a Senior Innovation Engineer to work with our technology team to drive the business forward and help realize our vision. This role requires working across the full breadth of our technology stack and partnering with our engineering and product teams enabling us to adopt new technologies and evolve our product. This position offers the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest minds in security to deliver scalable cloud-native applications to defend against the ever-evolving threat landscape.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll work with the technology team to help us create a next-generation security training product. You'll work with architecture and engineering to identify critical technologies to enable our vision and pioneer the approaches to make it successful. The ideal candidate doesn't shy away from a challenge, has a solid grounding in architecture and the security industry, and has a proven record of rapidly learning new technology and working to prove it out. The role will also work collaboratively with the engineering team to architect solutions and transition prototypes to be productized.

Your Profile

• 5-7 years of experience working in a software development or technology role with coding experience
• BS or MS degree in software engineering or equivalent
• Experience working with architects, engineers, dev-ops, and CTO to iteratively create designs, identify areas of risk, and quickly develop prototypes
• Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and work with the team to assess the viability
• Experience working full stack across front end, back end, data tier, and infrastructure solutions
• Experience working in the cybersecurity industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Lambda/FaaS, Java, Golang, AWS, DMS, Dynamo, Kafka, Service Mesh, API Gateway
