About the role: 

The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer joins the Infrastructure Engineering team and reports to the Director of Technical Operations. The candidate is an experienced and knowledgeable engineer in the areas of Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, and Developer Productivity.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience operating and maintaining 24/7 web services
  • Systematic problem solving approach and effective communication skills
  • Experience with public clouds, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads
  • Experience with automation, CI/CD and observability
  • Deeply familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Chef, etc.
  • Linux fundamentals, networking protocols, general utilities, and shell scripts

To Set You Apart:

  • Proficient using one or more of the following: Go, Python, Ruby or similar
  • Familiar with Kubernetes APIs, networking, controllers, RBAC
  • Heightened sense of build vs buy tradeoffs
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage off-the-shelf and well-known OSS technologies
