We are looking for a talented, self-motivated engineer to join our rapidly growing Development team! As a Senior Golang/AWS developer, you will be part of a team collaborating to deliver new features and components for one of our Fortune 500 clients. 

This role is suited for an engineer who will use professional expertise and strong critical thinking skills to provide solutions using AWS technologies. To be successful in this role, you will need experience using Infrastructure as Code as well as other AWS technologies in your design and implementation of services in Go. Your skilled craftsmanship will be in adherence to engineering coding standards and best practices. Great inter-team communication skills are critical, as our internal team is tightly integrated into several client teams.

As a successful Senior Golang/AWS developer, you are expected to be thorough and detail-oriented, with the ability to make decisions in a timely manner. Highly valuing accountability and ownership of your work, you will be collaborative and work to achieve shared goals. You will be expected to effectively balance speed, quality, and tech debt, making engineering decisions that enable quality results. Within three months, you will have successfully integrated with the team as a contributing factor to the success of the overall project. 

Requirement & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in design, development, building enterprise applications/services
• Proficiency in Golang or similar languages 
• Familiarity with IAC using Terraform and AWS 
• Experience building serverless applications using AWS technologies (ex: lambdas, DynamoDB, SQS, Step Functions, Secrets Manager, SNS, S3, IAM) 
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment 
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience with CI/CD best practices
• Strong decision-making and time-management abilities 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
