Your Opportunity

New Relic helps engineers resolve the most complex challenges in running software by offering the world's best source of telemetry data and instant observability solutions! We are laying the foundation for anyone in the engineering world to instrument their systems in a simple, automated, and extensible manner to get telemetry data and insights. We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join the team responsible for quick and easy deployment of New Relic's observability solutions on multiple platforms, integrations, and architectures.

What You'll Do

In this role, the engineer will develop installation tools and integrations that enable our customers to efficiently install New Relic's observability solutions and embed them into their DevOps workflows. They will work closely with designers, UX researchers, analysts, and engineers to measure and improve the user experience and simplify the workflow and time to value for our customers!

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

• 4+ years of development experience including both front end and back end
• Knowledge of continuous integration/test/deployment tools and methodology
• Ability to provide data and analysis on features
• Ability to work with heterogeneous systems and seek new environments you may not have encountered before
• Follow good coding and testing practices
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience

Nice-to-have:

• Experience working with or as a part of a distributed team
• End to End Test Automation skills
• Experience with observability tools
