Job Description The Team
The Wealth Management Fiduciary Controls Technology Team has teams located in Plano, Jersey City NJ, Geneva Switzerland, and Mumbai India. As a global unit we are delivering cutting edge UI solutions to business requirements and enhance the existing AAR platform. We will deliver in an agile manner, leveraging firm wide strategic technology platforms and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

• Working on AAR Transformation, one of modern tech stack application leveraging AWS, Kafka, GKP, Cassandra, Apache Ignite.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of React, Redux, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SASS, Glue.js, AngularJS, JQuery and YUI.
• Provide guidance and leadership for UI related solutions to other teams assisting developing solutions.
• Database tools - Sybase and Liquibase.
• Unit testing frameworks - Jest, Enzyme and Junit
• Integration testing frameworks - Selenium and Cucumber
• Cloud technologies and tools - AWS and Cloud Foundry.
• DevOps and CI/CD - About to build, deploy and support code using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Jules, Maven
• Agile Development Methodologies - Ability to understand story, estimate story points, identify blockers and able to participate in agile ceremonies.
• Design applications with Accessibility and Internationalization (i18n) standards.
• Version control tools - GIT and SVN

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience with application development and design.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field with preferred focus on Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Knowledge of UI best practices.
• Expertise in designing, maintaining, and supporting web applications.
• Experience with full software development life cycle models like Agile and Waterfall.
• Able to implement large scale UI applications.
• Excellent analytical and logical skills.
• Conduct meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into rich User Interface applications.
• Provide timely support to the end users in post-production stages.
• Effective influencing skills and an ability to work with a diverse and global team of technologists
• Utilizing agile software development tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Product knowledge - Wealth Management, Controls Framework, Securities Products
• Experience with Asset Management and/or Investment Banking and knowledge of Investments would be advantageous
• Must be detail oriented , needs to be able to investigate and solve for the details independently by partnering with relevant technology or business colleagues
• Experience working closely with AD architects and Design Authorities
• Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
• Ability and inclination to learn & pick-up new tools & technologies quickly
