Responsibilities
Humana Inc. seeks Senior Full Stack Engineer .NET in Louisville, KY.
Duties: Understand business requirements and solution architecture, and create programming specifications that can be used for developing working software. Analyze, design, develop, implement, configure, install, and integrate systems and applications that primarily utilize .NET technology stack. Provide ongoing enhancements, software support and issue resolution including security and performance for the assigned software applications/technology stack. Coordinate with testers to ensure they understand the business requirements, technical designs, and features to be tested. Release tested and approved software into production systems, perform post implementation validations and verifications, resolve issues, if found. Ensure proper controls are established and maintained over software source code in test and production systems at all times.
Telecommuting permitted.
Domestic travel to unanticipated client sites required.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field, plus 5 years of experience in a related role. This role requires 5 years of experience in each of the following: Frontend programming skills in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Web API); Web application development using MVC framework and multi-tier architecture; Web UI Frameworks - Bootstrap, or JQuery; Database technologies - SQL, LINQ, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Functions; and Systems Analysis and Design. This role requires 3 years of experience in each of the following: Production releases, deployment, and support; and Performance tuning and optimization, troubleshooting and issue resolution. This role requires 2 years of experience with test case design, testing support, and defect resolution.
