In this role you will design, develop and maintain healthcare applications and components using the latest cloud-based technologies and techniques including micro frontends, backend as service, microservices and orchestrated workflow. You will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team to create and deliver market leading offerings for clients across the continuum of care.
If you are located in Eden Prairie, MN, Schaumburg, IL, Raleigh, NC or Boston, MA, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges, until COVID restrictions are lifted.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing and follow Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks
  • Develop:
    • Web App components using Angular, Typescript, CSS and other software development tools and technologies
    • Webservices using NestJS, Azure Functions, Spring Boot and/or Hasura GraphQL
    • Using patterns, integration/collaboration concepts, and technologies such as Backend as Service (BaaS), Serverless FaaS, Microservices, message queues, FHIR
    • Unit and integration tests for all written software programs and components. Follow test driven development approach
    • Terraform - infrastructure as code
  • Review code and transfer knowledge according to established team processes
  • Document and communicate design and application code specifications and details to other team members
  • Adapt to new programming languages, methodologies, platforms and frameworks to support the business needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of programming and full software development life-cycle experience
  • 2+ years of experience Cloud/Distributed architecture design patterns
  • 2+ years of web service API development experience
  • 2+ years of experience TypeScript/JavaScript
  • 2+ years of experience Spring Boot with Java
  • Experience CSS
  • Experience with Angular (including v 9++)
  • Experience performing assigned software development tasks using established standards and procedures without any supervision
  • Solid technical skills including solid understanding of software development methodologies and principles
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations


Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience Azure Event Grid or Kafka
  • Experience with one or more automated testing tools - e.g., Cucumber, Protractor/Selenium
  • Experience working with NestJS or Azure Functions
  • Splunk experience
  • Ability to meet scheduled task requirements within assigned deadlines
  • Ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Solid understanding of functional programming concepts
  • Microsoft Azure Certifications
