We are the team behind the Attribution Engine, a licensing infrastructure for the Internet enabling fair compensation and increased access to content. With its advanced identification technology, Attribution Engine ensures compliance and safety for platforms, gives rightsholders total control of their content, increases access and confidence for creators, helps law enforcement prevent toxic content, and provides brand safety for advertisers.

Building the first solution capable of identifying, attributing, and licensing content in real-time, even before it’s published, is no small feat, so we’re looking for a new Senior Frontend Engineer to join us on our quest to bring freedom, fairness, and transparency to the Internet.

The Team

The Rightsholder Team at Pex is a fully remote, autonomous team made up of Engineers, Product Designers, and Product Managers. We value transparency and clear communication in an environment where all team members are supported to take initiative, experiment, learn from their mistakes, and share opinions freely. As an integral team member, you will be an active contributor to both technical and product outcomes, building the products our rightsholder partners and clients use to engage with our algorithms and data.

The Role

• Build scalable, reliable, and performant Vue.js and TypeScript applications
• Identify new frameworks and libraries that improve our code-base and enhance user experience
• Write clean, tested, efficient, maintainable code
• Contribute to product design and architecture decisions
• Mentor junior engineers

About You

• Experience with Vue.js and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of JavaScript
• Comprehensive knowledge of major client-side JavaScript libraries/frameworks
• Experience writing large, scalable, and performant JavaScript applications
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a fully remote and distributed team

• Go, Java, C/C++ on the backend
• PostgreSQL (horizontally distributed by Citus) and FoundationDB for data
• CI/CD pipeline backed by Jenkins
• Kubernetes to support our expansive development, QA, and production environments
