The Role
PennyMac is looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer to be part of our Production Loan Processing technology team. Our team solves the industry's most difficult challenges and delivers technology that helps people achieve home ownership.

Job Description
What will you do?

• The design, implementation, development and documentation of user interface for internal and external users.
• Contribute on recommending and evaluating technology decisions
• Develop solutions that are of high quality, scalable, cloud-based, reliable, and reusable
• Be part of and participate in a highly collaborative Agile/SCRUM environment. Interacting and communicating across teams to ensure sharing of knowledge
• Participate in code and architecture reviews
• Champion new technologies, architectures and processes to improve results
• Use the AWS ecosystem of services to develop and deliver business value

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

• Strong command of JavaScript, Typescript and Node.js
• Experience with the latest web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Deep Knowledge of React and supplemental libraries for data management and API communications
• Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
• Excellent sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience.
• Ability to ship code to production
• Effective communication with cross-functional team
• A passion for learning and continuous improvement
