Job Description Global Security Technology (GST) within Employee Experience & Corporate Technology (EECT) provides strategic application development and production support to the firm-wide Global Security & Investigations function. This organization is responsible for all aspects of security including physical access, fraud, pre-employment processing, aviation, resilience, crisis management and other related areas. The team will develop technology solution to maintain firm's resiliency data, manage recovery strategy for business & technology processes, crisis management, real-time reporting and monitor metrics.
Full Stack T-Shaped Software Engineer Lead
We are currently seeking a Full Stack T-Shaped Web Software Engineer to
Develop user interface (UI) components and add test coverage for automation at a component level.
Participate in the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery of code.
Integrate and develop services in presentation service and downstream area to process, add, and update GST investigation information from UI.
Enable performance and load testing for services and browser interface.
Set up authentication for all service end points to have a secured service flow from UI.
Design an asynchronous service based modern architecture to through T-shaped (multi-skilled) workforce, bringing cloud-minded design, Agile practices, tool standardization and automated delivery to our Enterprise Technology organization.
Monitor server logs across all environments to toggle the alerts and the daily traffic flow through each application. Help groom stories based on the impacts from a UI and service layer.
Selected individual will be responsible to work closely with our internal Global Security clients, Fraud and Investigation clients, Technology Partners and external vendors to identify, assess, and help document functional requirements, work with appropriate parties to understand business priorities, and advise business on options, risks, and costs associated with the Command Center Program. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrate strong technical understanding and experience working on AWS and Cloud Foundry cloud technologies or equivalent, AWS Certification a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong technical understanding of system architectures and a proven track record in software engineering of large scale J2EE or Microsoft .NET windows and web-based applications leveraging some of the following technologies: Java, Windows: various .Net web application and console application principles.
  • Strong technical understanding of Javascript web technologies (Angular), server side technologies like nodeJS/React (nice to have) and general API services (provider and consumer).
  • Demonstrate strong command in one or more relational database platform (MSSQL, Oracle, etc.) tools and reporting scripting like Python.
  • Exposure to non-relational database platforms (CassandraDB is a nice to have).
  • Experience with Methodologies like Agile, TDD, ATDD, BDD, Paired Programming.
  • Experience with user reporting tools, Cognos, Tableau is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience with support and maintenance of application hosting environments like IIS, Windows Services, etc.
  • Exposure to software development CI/CD, unit test development, various code scanning tools and concepts - Jules, Code scan research and vulnerability remediation.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
