OUR TEAM 

Quality Engineering team is a critical part of our technology organization and partners closely with our business, product, design, engineering and customer service teams to architect, build, manage, scale and grow testing strategies and frameworks to drive quality initiatives to enrich our customer experience. This role works with senior leaders and other team members to identify any gaps and potential opportunities to improve on quality and testing strategies, prioritize and drive them to closure. This team helps in building required tools and processes that allow us to scale for the accelerated next phase of Kinship in releasing high quality technology solutions.

HOW YOU’LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO

As the Senior Quality Engineer of Kinship team, you will be part of a team of engineers that reports to Director of Quality Engineering, Kinship, to build, manage and scale quality products/platform that drives enriched experience for pet parents. You will partner with product and engineering teams to drive quality initiatives while providing timely data driven updates.

 TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• You have 5+ years of hands-on experience doing QA for mobile, Web and Enterprise applications
• Define and maintain test plans and test cases for functional feature, regression, and performance testing
• Ensure overall product quality for all aspects of the product, including data, APIs, and mobile application
• Prioritize key tests and scenarios based on learned knowledge of trouble spots and in collaboration with Customer Support and Engineering teams.
• Benchmark and measure the quality of our product and communicate the metrics out to stakeholders.
• Expand test coverage and capabilities.
• Own weekly regression testing for backend releases
• Own regression testing 
• Bonus points for experience and capabilities around writing and running Automated Tests – UI or unit tests.
