Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Module Systems Engineerfor John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will d e fine systems requirements by identifying and translating customers, business, and other stakeholder needs. In addition, you will...
- Facilitate design solutions by developing and evaluating systems design and architecture
- Provide technical consultation on specific Crop Care system/equipment and their theory of operation
- Assist with technical issues with customers support, manufacturing or other continuous improvement needs

What Skills You Need
- 4 or more years of experience in product design, test, or analysis
- 2 or more years of demonstrated experience leading and collaborating with multifunctional, cross cultural design teams across other functional groups
- Good understanding of engineering principles and can independently apply these principles to system development
- Knowledge of the product development processes and enterprise software delivery processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with systems engineering methods of decomposition, system boundaries, and interfacing
- Experience with writing, defining, or interpreting requirements for design
- Understanding of Crop Care equipment and the businesses they operate in
- Experience with software development in a team environment
- Work experience with specific systems such as hydraulic, electrical, control, liquid application
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with both local and global teams
- Advanced degree in engineering or certificate in system engineering
- Knowledge of agriculture practices
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
