Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, coach and mentor the team of enterprise, domain and senior technical architects while growing their leadership and technical skills
  • Lead, architect and design a highly available, resilient and HiTrust compliant clinical platform that supports millions of members, providers and clinicians
  • Develop and promote the enterprise architecture principles, designs, and services as a part of Agile engineering practices and be able to differentiate region vs. global opportunities
  • Build trusting relationships with key business stakeholders to align/influence business and IT architecture
  • Influences senior leaders and all levels of business and IT staff on all areas of the architecture, including policies, standards, strategies, and governance
  • Translate company business strategy into concrete solutions, design and execute an IT systems architecture blueprint to support that strategy
  • Champion the application rationalization and version currency efforts to simplify the environments, improve stability and reduce application run costs
  • Drive organizational culture change and mindset shifts by articulating a compelling vision and effectively galvanizing change agents
  • Provide technical leadership while developing and maintaining relationships with Product Managers, Solution Engineers and Technical Architects
  • Develop multi-year roadmaps, provide the vision and work with individual architects to translate this into tactical engineering blueprints
  • Improving efficiency and effectiveness of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team including influencing and establishing best processes through solid design, decisions, and tools Utilize in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, software engineering, data engineering and data science to define target architectures, patterns and automation processes
  • Optimize EA's talent strategy to ensure proper mix of resources and to attract and recruit the industry's best talent
  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and results through multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture and Design
  • 3+ years of experience within a public cloud platform (ex; Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated enterprise architecture skills including application, information, and infrastructure
  • Provided strategic technology direction and architecture vision encompassing an enterprise view across a large portfolio of capabilities

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut and/or Nevada residents is $130,300 to $250,200.
