Senior DFT Engineer
Job Description
External Manufacturing Production (EMP) team is chartered with high volume manufacturing of Intel products with our 3rd party Foundry and OSAT suppliers.
EMP seeks a dynamic Senior DFT Engineer for, but not limited to:
- Lead, in the Technology and Chiplet Design Integration domain, focused on driving all design aspects of Design-For-Test (DFT), PPAC optimization, Design-For-Manufacturability (DFM), assembly, testing, yield (e.g., focus on reducing design marginality and enlarging process window), and quality. Early engagement from the design phase and NPI is needed.
- Drive yield Pareto detractors in design & testing. Support yield & quality Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) and de-bug activities with special focus on the reduction of design and testing systematic yield loss mechanisms.
- Understand process Technology vs. Chiplet Design Interaction trade-off and sensitivity. Support post-Si validation activities during test-chip characterization and NPI / transfer. Support testing de-bug and optimization during ramp and HVM sustaining.
- Support de-bug and optimization of product DFT and DFM.
- In collaboration with device team, optimize product aggregated Power (DC + AC) vs. Performance trade-off. (e.g., performance process and device centering and sweet spotting analysis)
- Centralize learning and standardize / deploy system and process in DFX and HVM.

Qualifications
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering or PHD or related field.
10+ years of relevant experience in external Foundry, OSAT, or design house with hands-on technical skills, including DFT, DFM, digital and memory design, product test engineering, post-Si validation in Foundry and OSAT suppliers. Experience with advanced foundry and assembly technologies will be a plus.
The candidate is expected to have experience in people management and resource allocation
