Description:Lockheed Martin's Automation Center of Excellence (ACOE) is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer that will be responsible for supporting the operations of Enterprise DevSecOps tools including GitLab, Atlassian JIRA, Nexus, and several others. This individual must have a good working knowledge of Site Reliability best practices and have the ability to drive and influence best practices both internally within the Automation Center of Excellence and across all Lockheed Martin Business areas. The ideal candidate will have a broad software development background combined with effective communication skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate for this role will be proficient in their understanding of DevSecOps best practices.

Duties include, but are not limited to: • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and improvement of ACOE DevSecOps tools including but not limited to GitLab, JIRA, and Nexus.• Support the effort to automate all tools deployments, updates, and maintenance by leveraging IaC with GitOps workflows. • Provide IaC and GitOps guidance to teams who support their own instances of ACOE supported DevSecOps tools.• Support the effort to provide real-time monitoring and proactive alerting of potential issues.

This position will be 100% remote work.
Basic Qualifications:• Professional experience with container orchestration and designing scalable architectures• Professional experience operating in an Infrastructure as Code environment utilizing Terraform or similar tools• Professional experience building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab (Preferred) and/or Jenkins• Professional experience supporting a full stack DevSecOps CI / CD environment• Hands-on experience in AWS cloud computing• 5+ years of technical experience across a multitude of IT disciplines including systems administration, software development, operations, networking and/or security; or 3 years of technical professional experience with a related Master's degree.• Familiar with Site Reliability Best Practices• Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
Desired Skills:• Model Based Engineering (MBE) experience• Experience with AWS GovCloud• AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate• Experience with SSO, SAML, Oauth, and Active Directory

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
