Promenade is searching for a talented and self motivated Sr. DevOps Engineer looking to join our team remotely from anywhere in the United States. You’ll help us build out our SaaS platforms that empower small businesses everywhere to grow their businesses. You’ll be part of a small but quickly growing team of incredibly talented and passionate technologists redesigning our release, hosting, and management platform from the ground up. This is truly an opportunity to come in and be part of a mostly greenfield architecture. We’re partnering with a highly capable Engineering team invested in building out a Site Reliability Engineering center of excellence across all of our products. 

More specifically, you will

• Embed yourself in our Agile engineering teams 
• Work with your fellow engineers to define and build deployment, configuration, and monitoring requirements 
• Create and maintain tools and automation to drive Promenade’s Reliability and Quality
• Identify and evangelize best practices for CI/CD and SRE 
• Be part of an on-call rotation 
• Help maintain the legacy platform (updates, patching, scaling, backups) 

You will excel if you have

• Passion, drive, energy, a sense of humor, great attitude, and a team player!
• Past experience on DevOps, Cloud Ops, or SRE teams for SaaS products
• Robust and proven experience in AWS, ECS, Docker, Nginx, and Aurora
• Experience in our Engineering stack: Nginx, Apache, PHP, Node.js, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch 
• Significant experience in DevOps tools such as Terraform, Gitlab, and Ansible 
• Understanding of managing distributed systems
• Experience in writing automation scripts in Python, JS, PHP, or a similar language
