Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer will build, manage and automate infrastructure, tools and services that make operating a massive large scale distributed system simple and easy. In addition to this, they will be the focal point for owning end-to-end customer experience and will be channeling the requirements to improve the service performance, scalability and reliability. They will be hands-on with a broad understanding of business applications and systems integration, web services, backend infrastructure, Cloud security and build & release engineering. They will work with IT/business application team to streamline customer onboarding process including API integration, data cleansing and data synchronization.
Job Description

• Test system integrity, implement design, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed;
• Ensure all systems are effectively and efficiently designed, developed and tested;
• Create documents related to architecture, design steps, integration processes and testing;
• Build and maintain tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment and operations platforms, ensuring that all meet customer service standards and reduce errors;
• Specify, document and develop new product features, and write automating scripts;
• Develop infrastructure and automating scripts pursuant to sprint defined under PennyMac Agile methodology standards using Jira;
• Ensure all functional and non-functional aspects of the platform are addressed;
• Participate in requirement analysis with Application Development teams to understand business requirements;
• Prepare infrastructure development estimations and communicate with stakeholders regarding same;
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch; and Provide technical support to resolve issues in production environment as required.

Ideal Candidate will have the following:
Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Experience: Five (5) years post-baccalaureate experience as IT Analyst, Senior Programmer or related role. Experience must include designing and developing SAAS product, WHITE framework, ADPlus, WinDbg or Ants Profiler, UML and Enterprise Architect, and SCRUM/Agile.
