Founded in 2018, MakersPlace is a curated online marketplace that allows artists to create and sell unique digital creations (NFTs) using blockchain technology (digital art marketplace). About the Position 

We are seeking a service-oriented DevOps engineer with a passion for providing an exceptional environment for our software engineers to operate in. As one of the first DevOps professionals on the team, you will help build and support the infrastructure powering the MakersPlace platform.

You Will:

• Build automation and tooling to support our fast growing team.
• Manage our CICD pipeline and development environments.
• Monitor and improve our system’s uptime, resiliency, latency, and security.
• Implement and maintain bulletproof infrastructure that powers our marketplace.
• Work directly with the engineering, product and data teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.
• Identify root causes of end user issues and implement preventative solutions to eliminate break fix work.

You Have:

• 5+ years developing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS.
• Experience with network design and a strong understanding of network protocols.
• Experience with DevOps automation tools like cloudformation or terraform.

Bonus Points:

• Experience building data pipelines and big data lakes.
• Experience working with blockchain tools and technologies.
• A passion for the art community and supporting artists!
