Job Description:

External Manufacturing Production (EMP) team is chartered with high volume manufacturing of Intel products with our 3rd party Foundry and OSAT suppliers.

Job Description:
A device engineer working in Intel EMP Manufacturing and Quality Enhancement (MQE) Engineering team
The candidate will participate in global cross-functional team meetings and work closely with foundries and product design teams to solve problems and to get job done
In the role, the candidate is expected to independently carry out data analysis, debug the issues observed in Si and drive continuous improvements on Intel products
The candidate is required to support product life cycle from new product introduction (NPI) to production ramping and high volume manufacturing:
The candidate has hands on experiences on below areas:
CMOS Device and product yield/KPI analysis and debug
Device Test structure design and test
DTCO and PPA benchmarking

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or higher: Degree must be in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant STEM engineering physical science discipline
  • 6 years of related working experience
  • 4+ years of experience in volume production.


Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of first-hand experience in advanced CMOS technology development in device engineering and/or process integration.
Fundamental understanding of solid state device physics, submicron FET architectures, and the implications of device characteristics and performance on technology and product behavior
Capability to do basic circuit layout, extraction, and SPICE simulation for benchmarking applications
Solid understanding of yield analysis, including defect pareto development and Failure Analysis (FA) methodology
Proficient data analysis skills using a broad set of data analysis tools for both device and yield analysis.
Must be self-motived, organized and highly effective in teamwork.
Fast learner, quick to adapt to new working environment and has sense of project/schedule urgency
