The Strategic Asset Liability Management Technology team within Finance Technology consists of extremely talented engineers, who develop industry cash management, forecasting and funding solutions for treasury globally.
We are looking for looking for a talented and highly motivated software engineer who is familiar with agile and scrum, can break down larger problems and detail user stories, who maintains a focus on testing and acceptance, particularly with respect to our regulatory and compliance requirements. Familiar with all or some of the following technologies, Java, Spring, Angular, Javascript, Python, Relational DBs and Python.
Role Overview:
Enterprise Finance Technology's SALMT team is looking for motivated new talent to work with our agile development teams. The team work with business partners/product owners from Treasury Front Office & Cash Management Services to define requirements, build specification, code, test and deliver to meet their needs.
The role is suited to a strong Java developer with web technology experiences such as java script or Angular. Experience working with Kafka messaging queues and Oracle or SQL Server DB are desirable. An interest in data science and machine learning would also be beneficial.

  • Familiar with Agile and scrum.
  • Can break down larger problems and detail user stories.
  • Can maintain a focus on testing and acceptance, particularly with respect to our regulatory and compliance requirements

  • Can become part of a team to support each other to deliver
  • Must be familiar with all or some of the following technologies, Java, Spring, Angular, JavaScript, Python, Relational DBs and Kafka
  • Experience building distributed and scalable complex services as well as robust micro service
  • Must be enthusiastic about emerging technology, team dynamics and building/maintaining a positive working environment
  • Should have experience with Machine learning - although not an essential requirement
  • Should have experience of capital markets or banking - although not an essential requirement


Desired Skills:

  • Experience with web services development and REST interfaces
  • Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysis with strong communication skills
  • Data science and machine learning
