Senior Developer - React Native
We're looking for a user experience and frontend focused, mission driven React Native developer to join the deepwatch Research and Development team.
Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional development team to bring static designs and prototypes to life, providing constructive feedback to optimize implementation and usability
• Experiment with new ways of visualizing large amounts of time-series data
• Address and/or fix UI/UX issues with the deepwatch's product suite UI
• Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices
• Collaborate with product, services, sales, etc. to determine priorities and risks associated with projects
• Ensure all relevant processes, procedures and product documentation is up to date
• Follow continuous integration/continuous development processes, peer review, coding style, and development conventions
• Actively participate in team standups, the agile process, peer code reviews, and pair programming
• Collaborate with other developers on planning and working use cases, features, tasks, and subtasks

Requirements
Required Experience, Skills and Knowledge

• 3+ years of frontend development experience with React Native
• 1+ years of TypeScript
• Solid problem-solving ability, planning mentality, and investigative mindset
• Ability to travel occasionally
• Ability and interest to work remotely from a home office when not at a corporate office
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws

Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge

• React Native architecture for mobile and web
• React Native unit testing with Jest / Enzyme / Jasmine / Mocha / Chai for mobile and web
• AWS AppSync & GraphQL
• Demonstrated understanding of data storage, caching, and modeling practices
• Designing & developing reusable front end components
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment driven by external demands
• Community-oriented/involvement in thought leadership, demonstrates trade expertise

Colorado Candidates:
Minimum salary of one hundred twenty four thousand dollars + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
