Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve multiple large-scale, cloud-hosted MongoDB, Postgres RDS, Elasticsearch, Redis environments
• Build and enhance our tooling, automation that provide safe self-service capabilities to your DBRE team and software engineering teams
• Collaborate with software engineering and operations teams to quickly highlight and resolve problems with database systems
• Ensure appropriate documentation is developed and maintained relative to the environments we support
• Meet critical latency, availability, and reliability goals and service level objectives

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in similar DBRE, SRE, or DevOps roles in a cloud-based environment
• 3+ years of experience in 1+ of the of the following
  • MongoDB
  • Postgres RDS
  • Elasticsearch
  • Redis

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tooling (we like Ansible, Chef, Terraform)
• 2+ years of experience in scripting or a modern programming language (e.g. bash, Python, Go)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux operating systems and administration
• Worked in a regulated (HIPAA, SOC) consumer SaaS environment
