Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Cyber Engineer to support an OPIR Joint customer Program Office responsible for acquiring the Overhead Persistence GEOINT Architecture (OPGA). The OPGA will provide the user community with OPIR capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity based intelligence information.

This position is located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing Joint Intelligence Community Government project leads with the planning, organizing and management of cyber security implementation on systems related to satellite ground processing capabilities.

SPECIFIC TASKING/PROJECT SUPPORT:

  • Overall support and oversight of an Information Assurance project/program
  • Integration, Development, Coordination and Implementation of Information Assurance initiatives in accordance with DoD NIST and Intelligence Community ICD503 processes
  • Work with Directorates and Offices to prepare and provide Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for ATO
  • Interface with multiple government agencies in the areas of Information Assurance and act as a liaison between government program offices (Directorates and Offices) and stakeholders in support of security and situational awareness
  • Coach junior teammates in IA/Cyber best practices
  • Foster an environment of open communication among the team to raise issues and impediments often and early to improve transparency
  • Provide business and systems analysis support for the project, collaborate with customers and teammates to identify, define, interpret, and clarify scope of problems/issues in terms of business/systems requirements and processes

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph
  • At least one of the following Certifications: CISM, CISSP, SEC+
  • Working knowledge of AGILE Scrum and SAFe software development methods
  • Working knowledge of IC principles, procedures
