The Senior Manager, Cloud Services Devops/Site Reliability Engineering will lead the Cloud Services/ Application DevOps team with following responsibilities: 

-Be responsible for maintaining and scaling production services and servers across multiple data centers for complex and data-intensive cloud services; 

-play a critical part in company’s hybrid cloud journey by improving scalability, service reliability, capacity and performance; 

-Write automation code for provisioning and operating infrastructure at massive scale; 

-Work with development teams to make sure the applications/services fit nicely within the infrastructure and scalability/reliability/security is designed and implemented from the start; -Work with QE on building pipelines and automation for delivering and deploying applications to production; 

-Participate in occasional on-call rotation supporting the service operations; 

-Take a lead role in managing major service outages; 

-Troubleshoot incidents, formulate theories and test hypotheses, and narrow down possibilities to find the root cause. 

Strong Cloud management experience and team building skills are essential, including experience defining metrics, measuring operational processes and continually improving the capabilities of an organization with stakeholders in multiple regions.

Responsabilities:

• Design, plan and implement cloud solutions for enterprise customers in a major public cloud providers AWS, OCI
• Design, plan and implement container based solutions on a Kubernetes platform
• Managing the day to day activities of team and Serve as a point of escalation or conflict resolution
• Drive operational excellence in everything you do; this includes creating processes, procedures, and automation to improve efficiency in our day-to-day tasks and projects
• Seek opportunities to introduce cutting-edge technology and automation solutions that are effective, efficient and scalable in order to improve our ability to deploy and maintain our global infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Proven management experience over Cloud or DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering teams
• Proven professional experience within Systems/Cloud/DevOps/Platforms/Software Engineering
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Kubernetes based tooling
• Expert knowledge of the Cloud provider services (e.g. in AWS and OCI). Demonstrable skills managing deployments in the following areas: data, containers, web (microservices), serverless, Analytics, Compute, identity management.
• Strong experience in IaC (infrastructure as Code) platforms (Terraform, Ansible) and Scripting languages in YAML, Python and automation systems
• Expert knowledge in Containerized services with experience in real life deployments is a must.
• Proven experience leading technical transformations and migrating applications from enterprise to public cloud providers.
• Strong Architecture and designing skills for native Cloud environment and application awareness within the infrastructure capabilities
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team of highly skilled professionals in a dynamic and rapidly changing sales environment
• Hands-on experience managing and deploying public Cloud services within AWS or OCI

Nice to have:

• Certifications in relevant technologies, cloud providers, or demonstration of ongoing learning would be a plus
• Experience of SIP/VOIP-based telephony or equivalent real-time IP based communication is a Plus.
