We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our quickly growing technology team. Central to our model and overall organizational success, we develop capabilities to aggregate disparate datasets and create products and solutions to drive business decisions, enable the execution of business strategies, and measure business and clinical outcomes.

Experience to drive change

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Enterprise Systems administration (UNIX/Linux and/or Windows Server)
  • Experience in at least 1 language / scripting framework (Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.) and desire to pick up another language
  • Experience in a multi-cloud infrastructure environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in Cloud Networking (DNS, IPsec, Security Groups, VPN, Load Balancing)
  • Experience designing cloud credential management solutions (IAM Roles, Azure, RBAC)
  • Experience with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP, Okta, OneLogin, etc.)
  • Experience with a configuration management framework (Chef, Ansible, Puppet etc.)
  • Experience managing and operating a logging infrastructure (ELK stack preferred)
  • Experience implementing an Infrastructure cloud monitoring and alerting using native cloud provider offerings or third parties such as Datadog, Pingdom, or PagerDuty
  • Experience with SIEM tools such as ArcSight or Splunk is preferred

For Colorado Residents only: The base compensation range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
